Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: 1st March 2026
Launchpad is a structured website service offered by atinypixel Labs. By purchasing a plan and engaging our services, you (the client) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.
1. Overview
Launchpad is a productized website service operated by atinypixel Labs. It is designed to deliver professional, template-based websites for local businesses within a fixed timeline and at a fixed price. The service is structured and process-driven rather than fully bespoke. By engaging Launchpad, the client acknowledges that they are purchasing a defined package of deliverables as described in the selected plan, subject to these terms.
2. Scope of Service
The scope of work is determined by the plan selected at the time of purchase. Services are template-based and structured. The following outlines what is included in each plan:
- Starter: A fixed-scope website comprising the number of pages, features, and deliverables as specified in the Starter plan description at the time of purchase. Typically includes core pages (e.g. Home, About, Contact), basic responsiveness, and defined inclusions as listed on the official Launchpad pricing page.
- Growth: A fixed-scope website comprising the number of pages, features, and deliverables as specified in the Growth plan description at the time of purchase. Typically includes all Starter inclusions plus additional pages or features as listed on the official Launchpad pricing page.
- Pro: A fixed-scope website comprising the number of pages, features, and deliverables as specified in the Pro plan description at the time of purchase. Typically includes all Growth inclusions plus further pages or features as listed on the official Launchpad pricing page.
Specific deliverables for each plan are as stated on the Launchpad website and in any order confirmation or scope document provided to the client. atinypixel Labs reserves the right to update plan descriptions; the scope applicable to the client is that which was in effect at the time of the client's purchase or as otherwise agreed in writing.
3. Exclusions
The following are expressly excluded from Launchpad unless explicitly agreed in writing and reflected in the project scope or a separate agreement:
- Custom design from scratch; custom visual identity or branding beyond use of client-provided logos and assets
- Custom backend systems, databases, or application development
- Ongoing content updates, maintenance, or support beyond the defined delivery and any included revision round
- Advanced SEO beyond basic on-page setup as described in the plan
- Paid advertising setup, management, or marketing campaigns
- Third-party integrations not explicitly listed in the plan (e.g. custom APIs, booking systems unless included as an add-on)
- Copywriting or content creation; the client is responsible for providing all text and media unless otherwise agreed
- Photography, illustration, or custom graphic design
- Ongoing hosting, domain registration, or renewal after the included period (if any)
Any request that falls outside the defined scope may be quoted separately and is subject to a separate agreement.
4. Client Responsibilities
The client is responsible for providing all content, materials, and information necessary for atinypixel Labs to complete the website. This includes but is not limited to:
- Text copy for all pages
- Logos, images, and other media in formats and resolutions suitable for web use
- Business name, contact details, and any other information required for the site
- Timely responses to queries and feedback during the revision round
The delivery timeline (e.g. 7 days) begins only after both of the following have been received: (1) the agreed advance or full payment, and (2) the client's complete content and materials as requested by atinypixel Labs. If content is incomplete or delayed, the timeline may be adjusted at atinypixel Labs' discretion.
14-day content delay policy: If the client fails to submit complete content and materials within fourteen (14) days of the request for such content, atinypixel Labs may treat the project as paused. Resumption may require a new timeline agreement and, at atinypixel Labs' option, additional terms or fees. atinypixel Labs is not obligated to hold the project indefinitely.
5. Payment Terms
Payment terms are as follows, unless otherwise agreed in writing at the time of order:
- Starter plan: Full payment upfront, or 50% advance as communicated at the time of booking. The remainder (if applicable) is due as specified in the order confirmation.
- Growth and Pro plans: 50% of the total fee is due as advance before work begins. The remaining 50% is due before the website is deployed to the client's live environment (go-live).
Work commences only after the advance payment (or full payment, where applicable) has been received and cleared. Final deployment or handover of the live site occurs only after the full project fee has been paid.
All payments are non-refundable once work has commenced. This includes advance payments. By making a payment, the client acknowledges that they have read and accepted these terms and that refunds will not be issued for work already performed or once the project has started.
6. Revisions Policy
One round of revisions is included as specified in the plan. A revision round consists of:
- Corrections to content (e.g. typos, factual updates)
- Minor adjustments to existing layout within the same template (e.g. spacing, order of sections)
- Replacement or addition of images within the same structure
- Reasonable tweaks to styling (e.g. colours, fonts) within the existing design system
The following are excluded from the included revision round and may require a separate quote or additional fees:
- Changes to the overall layout or structure of the template
- Switching to a different template or design
- Major restructuring of pages or navigation
- New features or functionality not in the original scope
- Additional rounds of revisions beyond the one included
Additional revisions or out-of-scope changes may be offered at atinypixel Labs' discretion and will be subject to a separate agreement and fee. The client must submit revision requests within the timeframe communicated by atinypixel Labs; late or excessive requests may be treated as additional work.
7. Template-Based Nature
Launchpad websites are built using predefined templates and layouts. The structure, general layout, and design framework are fixed unless otherwise agreed. If the client requires significant structural changes, custom layouts, or deviations from the template, such work is outside the standard scope and will require a custom quote and separate agreement. atinypixel Labs will communicate what is possible within the template and what would require custom work.
8. Hosting & Subdomain
- Included hosting: Six (6) months of hosting are included from the date of go-live, unless otherwise stated in the plan or order confirmation.
- Subdomain: During the included hosting period, the site may be made available on a subdomain in the format
yourname.byatinypixel.com(or as communicated). The exact subdomain is at atinypixel Labs' discretion and subject to availability. - Renewal: After the initial 6 months, hosting must be renewed for the site to remain online. atinypixel Labs will communicate renewal options and fees in advance. Failure to renew may result in the site being taken offline.
- Custom domain: Use of a custom domain (e.g. yourbusiness.com) may require domain registration or transfer, DNS configuration, and possibly additional fees. Unless explicitly included in the plan or add-on, domain costs and ongoing registration are the client's responsibility.
9. Ownership & Intellectual Property
Upon full payment of the total project fee:
- The client owns the final website content (text, images, and other materials provided by the client or created specifically for the client's site as part of the deliverables). The client may use, modify, and publish this content for their business.
- atinypixel Labs retains all rights to the underlying template framework, design system, code structure, and any pre-existing or reusable components. The client receives a licence to use the delivered site as a whole for its intended purpose but does not acquire ownership of the template or framework.
- atinypixel Labs may use the completed project (e.g. screenshots, link, or description) in its portfolio, marketing materials, or case studies unless the client has requested in writing that the project be kept confidential. Such a request may be accommodated at atinypixel Labs' discretion and does not affect ownership of the underlying framework.
If the project is terminated before completion, ownership and licence terms will be as set out in the Termination section below.
10. Third-Party Services
Launchpad may rely on third-party services for hosting, form handling, email, domain registration, and other technical or operational needs. atinypixel Labs is not responsible for the availability, performance, or policies of these third parties. Outages, data loss, rate limits, or other issues arising from third-party services are not the liability of atinypixel Labs. The client agrees to comply with any applicable third-party terms (e.g. host or registrar) where relevant to their use of the website.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
- atinypixel Labs' total liability to the client for any claims arising out of or related to the Launchpad service or these terms shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client to atinypixel Labs for the project in question.
- atinypixel Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunity, whether based in contract, tort, or otherwise, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
These limitations apply regardless of the theory of liability and survive termination of the agreement.
12. Termination
Either party may terminate the project before completion by giving written notice. Upon termination:
- Advance payments already made are non-refundable.
- Work completed up to the date of termination remains payable. If the client has not yet paid in full, any balance for work performed may be invoiced and is due within the period stated on the invoice.
- atinypixel Labs may retain or deliver work product in a manner consistent with the stage of completion and payment received. No obligation to continue development or to deliver source code or assets beyond what has been paid for shall apply.
Termination does not relieve the client of the obligation to pay for work already performed or to comply with sections that by their nature survive (e.g. ownership, limitation of liability, confidentiality where applicable).
13. Post-Launch Support
Launchpad includes delivery of the website and the defined revision round within the project timeline. It does not include ongoing support, content updates, or maintenance after the site has been launched and the project is complete. Any such work may be offered separately and will be subject to a separate agreement and fee.
If the client requires ongoing maintenance, security updates, or content changes after launch, they should discuss options with atinypixel Labs. A separate maintenance or support agreement may be required. atinypixel Labs is not obligated to provide post-launch support beyond what is explicitly agreed in writing.
14. Acceptance of Terms
By making any payment for a Launchpad plan or add-on, the client confirms that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Payment constitutes acceptance of these terms in full. If the client does not agree, they should not make a payment and should contact atinypixel Labs to clarify before proceeding.
